From the top of a parking structure! My favorite discovery of the day was how useful they can be for finding good perspectives!
View of 375 Pearl Street from the Brooklyn Bridge. So many more pictures to edit but no time until I’m back in California (and without photoshop *crying*). Of course then the only thing I’m going to want to do is take more pictures.
So I have this wonderful wide-angle lens and from the right perspective, the buildings will come together as a unit. I think it’s fitting. It speaks louder than the city itself.

I wish I could get the clouds to pop a bit more.. I tried everything but I think there’s enough texture.

Helmsley Building. Originally the New York Central Building, erected by the railroad company that built Grand Central Terminal just to the south. This is the view from south of the building.
An alleyway next to the Ford Foundation Building. More beautiful then the building itself, I think. 42nd between 2nd and 1st ave.

I am so finished with iphoto’s substandard editing. The quality is horrific. Time for photoshop through NYU when I get a moment!
